How to Make Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 1 giant lasagna pan
  • 1 pack frozen spinach
  • 1 pack lasagna noodles
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 pound pork sausage
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground oregano
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups milk 1
  • 8-ounce can tomato sauce Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the frozen spinach according to the package instructions.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and pork sausage.
  • Add the salt, pepper, oregano, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring well to combine.
  • Drain the cooked spinach and add it to the meat mixture, stirring gently to incorporate.
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and rinse with cold water.
  • In the giant lasagna pan, begin by layering the ingredients as follows: Layer of noodles Meat and spinach mixture Mozzarella cheese
  • Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of noodles on top.
  • In a separate saucepan, warm the cream of mushroom soup with the milk, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the layered lasagna.
  • Top with the tomato sauce and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Bake the lasagna for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Chef's Tip: For an extra layer of noodles, simply add another layer of cooked lasagna noodles before topping with the tomato sauce and parmesan cheese.
