National Chocolate covered anything Day

Chocoholics rejoice! Today is National Chocolate Covered Anything Day. This December 16 holiday is a great day to indulge, binge, “pig out”, and otherwise consume to excess, your favorite food….chocolate. We believe the timing of this day, during the holiday season, couldn’t be better.

Today, we get to enjoy our beloved chocolate by covering something…just about anything… in a generous amount of chocolate. Pour, spread, or drizzle chocolate over cakes, cupcakes, pies, pancakes or waffles, nuts, raisins, and even ants (yes, some people actually eat chocolate-covered ants!). We will let you decide what is too extreme, and how much is too much if any.

How to Celebrate National Chocolate Covered Anything Day

Certainly, National Chocolate Covered Anything Day is a food holiday that we all will enjoy. Here are some ways you can have some fund on this great hoiday:

  • Experiment and cover things with chocolate that you’d never think of doing before today’s holiday.
  • Count how many things you eat today that are covered in chocolate.
  • Grab a couple of handfuls of M&Ms and chow down.
  • Give out chocolate-covered goodies to family, friends, and work associates.
  • Dip your ice cream cone into chocolate sauce. Don’t forget to add some nuts.
  • Go to your local grocery store and buy a nutty buddy or a chocolate-covered ice cream.
