plant tip 26

Soda bottle mini plant

There are many creative ways to use old or recycled soda bottles as plant terrariums. To start, cut off the top third of the bottle so that the opening is about 2 inches wide. Cut a small hole in one side of the bottle’s top portion so the plant can grow.  Next, fill the bottom third of the bottle with potting soil and place your chosen plant inside. Secure the top of the bottle with a rubber band or tie if desired. Finally, add some decorative rock ornaments to complete your mini terrarium.
