This dog has been crowed World’s Ugliest Dog. Wild Thang an 8 year old Pekingese is from Coos Bay, Oregon. This is the 5^th time  the dog was entered but 1^st time winning  Worlds Ugliest Dog.

The owner received $5000 plus will go on the  NBC’s The Today Show.

Wild Thang won the contest at the Sonama-Marin Fair in Petaluma California against  9 other dogs who competed.

Wild Thang's unique looks are due to a case of canine distemper when he was a 10-week-old puppy.

The disease prevented the growth of his teeth, hence the dangling tongue, and muscular disorder in one of his legs
