 Today is the day to celebrate and honor all Tv Talk Show hosts. But most of all, this very special day honors Johnny Carson. It is celebrated on the birth date of this legendary nighttime talk show host. Johnny Carson’s Birthday was October 23, 1925.

Carson is considered the “King of late-night Television”. Johnny amused us with his hilarious antics. He dazzled us with an array of actors, actresses, and famous people. And, they all clamored to be one of the guests on his show.  It made unknown people famous, and famous people even more famous. Johnny’s sidekick Ed McMahon was brilliant in this supporting role, opening each show proclaiming “Hereeee’s Johnny!” Johnny Carson hosted The Tonight Show from 1962 to 1992.
